Céad míle fáilte!
A hundred thousand welcomes to the home page of Saint Brendan's, a progressive Celtic (KEL-tik) spiritual community.

We embrace a modern expression of the spirituality resulting from the historic cross-fertilization of pagan Druidry and Christianity in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and other Celtic lands.  We invite you to explore our pages and discover more about us.

At Brendan's, our community life is centered around the celebration of word and sacrament in a Celtic style.  We emphasize the immanence and accessibility of the divine in all of creation and believe in God's unconditional love and acceptance of all people.  We are non-dogmatic and welcoming of people with non-traditional spiritual beliefs.

We meet for worship each Sunday at 9:45 AM at 1602 West 43rd Street, in the near Northwest Houston area.  Our service lasts for about an hour.

If you're looking for an intimate, non-proselytizing community of people who affirm the goodness of all creation and the validity of all spiritual paths, then this might be just the place for which you've sought.  Visit us soon, and come as you are.  God doesn't care about your taste in clothing, and neither do we!

Fear not, for God will be unto us a helper, a mariner, and a pilot.  May God do unto us his servants and his little vessel as he willeth.

Kid's Kirk

Saint Brendan's is pleased to announce that it now offers Kid's Kirk for the younger folks.  Children participate in the main service up until after the readings.  They then go off to learn about the day's readings at an age appropriate level, and afterwards return to the main service in time for Communion.  No sitting through "boring" sermons for the kids, and no distractions for their parents.  Our Kid's Kirk is built around the acclaimed Seasons of the Spirit multi-age, lectionary-based curriculum.
